In Southern Wisconsin’s Driftless region, Uplands Cheese produces America’s most-awarded cheese. Pleasant Ridge Reserve won the US Cheese Competition in 2003 and went on to win Best of Show a record three times at the American Cheese Society’s annual competition. This farmstead creamery raises a custom bred closed herd that never sees the inside of a barn --100% rotationally grazed off native grasses, wild-flowers, herbs and legumes on Uplands’ 300 acres of pasture. Only raw grass fed milk from early spring through fall is used in the production of this Alpine-style knockout.
