Tony Hook started making cheese in 1970. In 1976, he and his wife, Julie, started their own cheese company. Hooks is best know for their Cheddars ranging in age from 6 months to 20 years! In 1997 Hooks expanded their offerings to include Blue cheeses. All of the cheeses at Hooks are hand made in a 150 year old building built into a hillside that provides the perfect temperature and humidity for aging their cheese.
