Having grown up in the Netherlands, Marieke Penterman had cheese as her destiny long before she moved to Wisconsin and started her own dairy in 2013. Marieke earned her degree in Dairy Business and returned to the Netherlands to study under some of the best producers to hone her skills. She came back to Wisconsin to become a licensed cheesemaker and soon opened a state of the art dairy in Thorp, WI where they raise 350 dairy cows to produce her highly award winning Goudas.
